Transparency

At La Palma Renovable, we believe that transparency is a key value. This is why we publish information about our organisation on this page – to put our values into practice, and to implement the State Law no. 19/2013 (from 9 December) on transparency, access to public information and good governance, as well as the Canary Islands Law 12/2014 (from 26 December) on transparency and access to public information.

Institutional and Organizational Information

The Socio-Environmental Association La Palma Renovable is a non-profit association established in February 2020 with registration number G1/S1/24636-20/P and NIF G76821446.

The Board of Directors consists of a President, a Vice-President, a Secretary and a Treasurer.

The objectives of the association are

1. Promote the development of a new energy model based on renewable energy sources, energy savings and efficiency, in order to reverse the situation of resource depletion, environmental degradation, poverty and other negative social effects resulting from the inequalities and injustices of the current energy model.
2. Promote the decarbonisation of our economy and society as well as the mitigation of and adaptation to the effects of climate change.
3. Promote the participation of citizens, institutions, companies and society in general to achieve the above objectives.
